I began working as a professional portrait photographer in the
1970s in the New York City area. Over the years I have added
oil painting, watercolors, pastels and drawing to the mediums
I work in. More than a photographer or an oil painter, I am
an artist who enjoys the different features of many media.
My fine art photographs and other
artwork are collected internationally and prized by art collectors
and dealers. More than the awards and recognition, it is my
goal to surround people with beauty and so enrich their lives.
I use the best technology available. For photographs 13x19 or
smaller, I normally use an Epson Printer with Epson paper to
insure the photograph has a life of at least 170 years. For
larger photographs I use Kodak photo paper, to insure quality
and archival quality of the photograph.
My portraits reflect my fine art
background. Specializing in location and black and white portraiture,
my portraits reflect an artistic flair and quality that make
them stand out. I approach each sitting with the challenge of
bringing out and displaying the beauty, strength and character
of each person. I want to show them as the work of art they
are. My customers enjoy a relaxed, safe, and fun photographic
session as well as a beautiful outcome that is as individual
as they are.
I am based in the Atlanta, Georgia
area where I live with my beautiful wife and in the vicinity
of my three sons.
